How we operate

Embedded. Temporary on purpose.

We are not an agency and not an advisory practice. An agency executes the scope you write. A consultant tells you what to do. We take the seat at the level you would hire a Head of eCommerce, we run the business, and we hand it back working.

This page is how that actually works: the shape of the seat, what happens in what order, the three ways in, and what we need from you to do it well.

The shape of the seat

Senior partner. No hand-off.

The work is led by an operator with more than twenty years of P&L ownership inside consumer brands. You get the partner on every call, not a junior team after the agreement is signed.

The seat

From as little as 5 hours a week

Embedded. In your Slack, on your calls, in your dashboards. Contract or consulting. We scope the hours to the problem, not to a retainer tier.

The term

Three to twelve months

We are temporary on purpose. If you still need us in year two, we'd take the compliment.

The exit

A business that runs

Documented, staffed or vendored correctly, and forecastable. Handed back to someone who can run it.

What happens in order

Diagnose. Take the seat. Leave it working.

  1. Weeks 1–2

    Diagnose

We get into the store, the marketplace accounts, the ad accounts and the P&L. We find out what is actually wrong, what it is costing, and what is worth fixing first. You get a written answer, and you keep it either way.

  2. Months 1–3

    Take the seat

We set the plan and the budget, brief the agencies, and make the first calls: pricing exceptions, budget allocation, the retention program. These are the things that move within a quarter.

  3. Months 3–12

    Run it

One P&L line, one team answering for it. We run the channels as one business, replace what does not deliver, and report contribution margin, not a ROAS that flatters the report.

  4. The handback

    Leave it working

Documentation, the right people or vendors in the right seats, and a forecast someone else can defend. Then we leave. That is the point.

Three ways in

Sized to
the problem.

Scope up when it is working, scope down when it is done. Useful in week one: no search, no offer letter, no ninety-day ramp.

A flat monthly fee against a fixed weekly commitment is the default. A rate against a weekly cap is the alternative, used for diagnostic work and for clients not ready to commit to a term.

One-time

Audit

What it is
A fixed-scope diagnosis of the store, the listings, and the channels. You keep the findings and the priority order either way.
When it fits
You need a real answer before you commit to anything.
Monthly · 90-day minimum

Retainer

What it is
We take ownership of one or two channels and report against one number. Ninety days minimum, because nothing real moves faster.
When it fits
You have a lead in place and a gap underneath them.
Monthly · 3 to 12 months

We Own The Seat

What it is
We take the seat. Full digital business, full P&L, vendor authority. Strategy, budget, hiring, and accountability for the result.
When it fits
Nobody owns it and you need that fixed now.

What we need from you

Four things. None of them a deck.

The engagement is built on decisions and access. Without either, we are a vendor, and you should hire a vendor. It is cheaper.

Access
Admin access to the store, the marketplace accounts, the ad accounts and the email platform. We cannot run what we cannot see.
One decision-maker
One person on your side who can say yes. Not a committee. The engagement is built on decisions, and decisions need an owner on both sides.
An agreed budget
A spend envelope we control inside of. We report against it every month. We do not ask for more without showing you why.
The truth
The real numbers, including the ones that are embarrassing. The Audit only works if we are looking at the actual business.

Show us your business and frustrations. We’ll show you how we correct it.

Send the store, the marketplace accounts and the ad accounts. In two weeks you get a real answer: what is broken, what it is costing you, and what is worth fixing first.

If nothing is worth fixing, we will tell you that too.
